Financial support to our PhD students

The Climate Research School (CRS) at the Bolin Centre provides financial support to PhD students at the participating partners to attend climate related conferences and courses. To apply for support you need to become a member of the Bolin Centre and its Climate Research School. 

As a member of CRS you should agree to be prepared to present you research at Bolin Centre meetings and commit to take at least one CRS course. You will be listed on our homepage with a photo and project title along with a link to your personal home page. We would also like you to affiliate yourself with Bolin Centre whenever you give presentations and publish papers.
 
You will also have the opportunity to organize conferences, meetings and courses within the CRS. Contact the Directors of Studies or the student representative with ideas and or questions.

Bolin Centre for Climate Research announces Call for financial support 2017

The Climate Research School (CRS) at the Bolin Centre hereby announces financial support for 2017. The CRS supports climate related courses at other educational institutes or climate related conferences. This call focus primarily on courses, internationally or nationally. The application, together with supporting documents, should be received by the Director of Studies. Next call is 30 September 2017.

The application shall include: 
• a letter of intent, containing a motivation 
• a budget "Guide lines for hotel costs" (.xls file)
(CRS does not cover per diem) 
• the course plan or relevant information about the conference 
• the student's abstract for the presentation (conferences)
• the supervisor's written support
