Workshop | One-day RA2 workshop

It is our pleasure to invite you to a one-day Bolin Centre Research Area 2 workshop to be held on Monday the 8th of May, 2017 in Högbomssalen, Geohuset, Stockholm University.

The workshop will provide all members of the research area with the opportunity to learn more about the ongoing research within RA2, to explore possibilities for collaborations and to learn more about the possibilities for obtaining funding from the research area. In order to cover the breadth of research being conducted within the research area it is our intention that every member who wishes to present themselves and their research can do so.

The workshop will include both lunch outside Högbomssalen and dinner at Fakultetsklubben in the evening after the workshop where we hope informal discussion can continue.

To enable all members of the research area to participate, the workshop will consist of both 5 minute speed talks (maximum two slides) and longer presentations by invited speakers (which we will announce shortly) covering the major research topics within RA2. We expect that all who attend the workshop will take part in the speed talks. There are no hard and fast rules on what you can present in the speed talks so long as it is of interest to RA2 members – past, on-going or future research are all welcome. We hope that members will find the workshop to be a relaxing environment for sharing thoughts and ideas.

Finally, we are also interested in whether members of the research area would like to present a poster.
If you would like to, please indicate so in the registration form.
To register for the workshop and dinner please visit this link before March 17th: https://goo.gl/forms/73uClWgzYomkAPDX2 and fill out the form (~2 minutes, 6 questions).

We look forward to seeing you all on the 8th of May!

Many thanks,
Matt, Frida and Lars
