Description:

Abstract:: Harmonized hydrological base map of the entire Baltic Sea Drainage Basin, including 634 sub-drainage basins. Attribute data, added to all the sub-drainage basins in the database enable a user to aggregate sub-drainage drainage basins and characterization data to different management-relevant hydrological scales, up to the BSDB itself. Attribute data also contains data on total population, population densities, slope and land cover distribution.
Purpose:: The base map is intended to serve purposes of a vide range of hydrological and environmental science applications for the Baltic Sea Drainage Basin and parts of it.
